What’s new for 2023 with Stellantis
Only recently founded in 2021 after the fusion of the PSA Group and Fiat Chrysler, Stellantis is a multinational automobile group that has gathered together –under its banner- a vast selection of well-known automobile manufacturers like Chrysler, Dodge RAM, Jeep and many more.
Although it was recently created, Stellantis has always made an effort to offer cutting-edge technology in order to provide the public with the best possible vehicles.
With your Elite Chrysler Jeep dealership, find out what we can expect from this automotive giant for 2023, as much in terms of technologies as the constant progress towards a greener future.
Uconnect 5: The Reinvented User Experience
For those who love an interior with loads of technologies, you will be well served: this operating system offered by Stellantis has been significantly improved to fit the upcoming vehicles over this coming year.
This popular multimedia system used in a wide selection of Stellantis models has undergone an important upgrade. In fact, beginning in 2023, Stellantis models that include the Uconnect system will all receive the Uconnect 5.
Just in terms of speed, the Uconnect 5 operating system has a response time that is 5 times faster than its predecessor. This is a general improvement, albeit very interesting for all users.
The most important changes when it comes to the Uconnect 5, however, will be found inside the vehicle. In fact, this new operating system will be more connected than ever before.
It will offer a more accessible and customizable experience, that can be connected to your smartphone, in order to provide you with access to its functions anywhere you go.
Affordable Electric Mobility
With a vision aiming at reaching zero net carbon emissions between now and 2038, Stellantis is looking to offer durable, modern but also affordable vehicles to its clients.
Already, at the 2023 CES, in Las Vegas, Stellantis announced several steps taken to reach this goal, like:
- The RAM 1500 Revolution, a fully electric RAM.
- The announcement that all Jeep models will be available in an electric version between now and 2025, with a fully electric Jeep model to appear this coming year.
- The very first electric Chrysler vehicle will be available in 2025.
Moreover, with all of the manufacturers reunited under the Stellantis banner, we will see four all-new fully electric models appear in 2023.
In short, with the importance given to this initiative by the Franco-Italo-American multinational, we are sure to hear several more announcements very soon.
